Ron Paul Pwnership

Posted by: Ion | May 16th, 2007 · 12:55 AM

GatewayPundit has a superb clip of Rudy taking the stick to Ron Paul for his grotesque efforts to blame the United States for 911 in the latest Republican debate:

Kudos to Rudy and to the crowd, for the richly deserved thunderous ovation they provided him.

It should come as no surprise that disagreement with Paul is turning into outright hostility in the GOP, if you know a few Republicans. Already his cult-like following was seen as obscene for a conservative party and the poll stuffing and spamming obnoxiousness was getting irritating among the blogging right. But these issues were not the fault of Paul or his campaign. Instead they were the fault of his supporters, most of whom are probably registered Indies (Libertarians) anyway.

However, since he persists in importing this leftist blame-America-for-cancer even Bircher conspiracy theorizing into the Republican Party, it’s time for tar and feathers and a swift boot in the ass to the curb. Whatever the wing, anti-American conspiracy theories and 9/11 masochism have no place in the Republican Party. None.

Update:
Hotair has Paul’s initial remarks and his refusal to apologize here.
