My Defense of the Bristol Palin
Posted by:
It’s time for conservatives to go on the offense. Our political enemies have taken off their gloves, and have proven as Democrats, as media types, as leftists, that they will say anything, use anyone, exploit any issue, to get ahead and to win elections. We CANNOT let them get away with this attack on an innocent girl for the sake of politics.
This writer, and you’ll have to excuse my anger today (but I find it offensive when innocent children are exploited for politics), is damned tired of being lectured by liberals, of all people, as to the lessons of morality, when they know nothing of the sort about it. Allow me to catalog as to why:
1. Since 1973, Democrats, liberals, and leftists, are responsible for the outright murder of over 40 million innocent children in their willing support of abortion procedures. Their support of such a practice, quite frankly, should mark them in shame, to the degree of the old slavery apologists of the 18th and 19th centuries.
2. They are responsible, solely responsible, for the destruction of the black family in America, through their welfare and education proposals. When you see a starving child on the streets of Detroit, an unwed mother with three children from different fathers, a housing project filled with withering dreams… blame the nearest Democrat for their failed inner-city policies.
3. They have made every attempt to destroy our religious heritage in this country, through the slow drip of indoctrination in our public schools, lawsuits slamming any state or county which features a cross on a hillside, and fear mongering slander towards anyone who espouses a Christian viewpoint on the public stage.
4. Democrats, liberals, and the left, are now trying to destroy the concept of marriage as we know it, throwing mud in the faces of every good man or woman who wishes to protect the very institution that allows regular family life to persist in this society, and branding anyone who disagrees with their warped point of view as a bigot, when they themselves seek to change institutions through political scare tactics.
5. They have hoped for the deaths of our soldiers in Iraq, all in the name of regaining political power in Washington. In this Iraq War, when victory was on the line and they could have honored their own soldiers by allowing them the support they needed to win, Democrats instead chose to resist funding, and to air out a political discourse in the national media which emboldened our enemies to step up the fight, execute more car bombings and beheadings, all designed, by the terrorists, to fuel the fans of protest within the Democratic Party’s message to the American people. I wonder how many more troops would have survived in Iraq, had the Democrats stood with us, not against us?
6. They have prayed for the deaths of innocent civilians in New Orleans on the eve of the Republican National Convention, for the mere benefit of an extra day or two of negative coverage towards Republicans. When those of us who cared for the lives of families in the area were praying, Democrats and leftists were hoping for the worst; home destruction, looting, drownings, to use such images to talk about Katrina II. If you don’t believe me, just ask their ex party chairman who was caught on tape saying so this week in an overheard airplane conversation.
7. And finally, Bristol Palin. A 17 year old girl who made an initial mistake. In all their claims of compassion, for the purposes of slowing the positive news coverage of a wonderful woman who’s done wonderful things as a governor of a state, these same Democrats have the audacity to smear this family to the brink of embarrassment. They have suggested a cover up over Governor Sarah Palin’s own child, suggested Palin herself to be a horrible mother for continuing her public bid for higher office, and have used policy debates to cheaply exploit and further the issue.
I ask my Democrat friends, how we should compare the supposed crime of a teenage pregnancy, something which will ultimately result in the birth of a beautiful child, to your 30-year support for killing 40 million of these beautiful children in the womb, by causing the crisis in black America with your socialist welfare programs, by your attack on religion and people of faith, by your attacks on marriage, and by your wishing for death and destruction in places like Iraq and Louisiana for political points. How should we compare ourselves when it comes to morality, to you?
Conservatives of all stripes ought to be attacking these people for what they are, hypocritical cowards who use the media in this country to advance their lies. They’ve attempted to destroy this country long enough, and we shouldn’t idly sit by as they try to destroy the reputation of a good woman in Sarah Palin, especially through her own daughter’s extremely private circumstance.
